Although I haven't actually heard it used lately, I'm really sick of the phrase 'Let's roll.' Coined on the 9-11 flight that went down in Pennsylvania, then trademarked (or at least attempted, exploited, and coopted for irrelevant matters, it's just another pointless catchphrase, and a pretty nondescript one at that. However, when used in an unexpected way, it's pure comedy gold, of course. Thus we have this cartoon, in which I express my fear that Bush's doctrine for the war in Iraq has no apparent logical end. Will the other two nations in the 'Axis of Evil' be our next targets? How about Saudi Arabia? I think political cartoons are way more effective when they're explained with a prolix caption.
